Bereavement Team

 Purpose:
To provide a Prayer Service for deceased members of our parish.

 

Description:
A bereavement team made up of three members of St. Theresa’s parish, upon request, will provide a prayer service for the family of the deceased.

How it works:
During the initial contact with the family of the deceased, Father Jennings will ask if they would like to have a Prayer Service.  It is optional and there is no cost.

The Prayer Service is usually held at the funeral parlour prior to visitation on the day before the funeral and will last approximately thirty minutes.

The members of the Bereavement Team are asked to do the Prayer Service according to their schedules and availability.  Training is provided as needed.
