 Evening Prayer ~ Join us for our parish celebration of Evening Prayer, Wednesday, March 17th at 5:30 pm in the Church.

 Adult Formation ~ Check out the opportunities here at St. Theresa’s.  Little Rock Scripture Study on Monday, March 15th at 7:00 pm in the Old Rectory; and Our Father: Conversations in the Catholic Faith on Tuesday, March 16th at 7:00 pm in the Hall.

 Pastoral Council Meeting ~ Monday, March 15th at 5:30 pm in the Rectory.

 Holy Week - Liturgy Ministers ~ HELP!  Our Holy Week Liturgies will call for much ministry assistance.  Please check your availability, sign up sheets are in the sacristy.

 Music Ministry ~ Any young people (elementary to university) interested in taking part in the Easter celebration are invited to choir practice on Sundays, March 14th, 21st, and 28th from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.  Any adults or high school/university people interested in singing during the Easter Triduum and/or the Easter season are invited to join us on Mondays from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.  Regular choir practice will begin at 6:30 pm.  For more information please call Carole Linda Miller at 454-6590.

 Suggestion Box ~ St. Theresa’s Pastoral Council wants to hear from you.  A suggestion box has been set up at the back of the church; please place any ideas you may have regarding the spiritual or community life of the parish in the box.

 World Youth Day 2011 ~ World Youth Day 2011 will take place the summer of 2011 in Madrid, Spain.  This is a journey of youth traveling as pilgrims and sharing faith and an experience of Christian community.  Jessica McCann is one of these pilgrims from St. Theresa’s Parish.  Over the next year or so our community will be encouraging Jessica and other young pilgrims as they prepare for this experience.  Any questions about the World Youth Day experience please call:  The Diocesan Office of Religious Education, 444-6025.

 St. Theresa’s CWL ~ Executive meeting will be held on Thursday, March 18th at 7:00 pm in the Old Rectory.  The regular monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, March 21st in the Hall, following the 11:30 am Mass.

 Marriage Preparation ~ Getting Married this year or know of someone getting married this year?  The Fredericton Institute for Christian Studies is holding Marriage Preparation Courses on April 2nd & 3rd and April 30th & May 1st.  Please call 472-0660 or visit www.frederictonpremarriage.com to register. 

RELIGIOUS FORMATION NEWS

K -8 and Confirmation

 K – Year 5 ~ will meet at regular time this week.

Years 6, 7 & 8 ~.  Will meet at 6:30 pm in the Hall.  This group will be participating in the 9:30 am Mass on Sunday, March 21st.  All year 6, 7 & 8 members are asked to please be at the church at 9:00 am sharp. 

Development and Peace ~ Next Sunday, March 21st, is Solidarity Sunday, when parishes dedicate their collection to Development and Peace, the international development agency of the Canadian Catholic Church.  Perhaps you have been following the activities and almsgiving suggestions in Development and Peace’s Lifestyle Awareness Calendar.  Solidarity Sunday is a wonderful time to donate the alms you have collected.   Through Development and Peace, you can watch your gift grow in the hands of those with the least in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

 Touched by Cancer ~ St. Anthony’s monthly “Touch by Cancer” mass for those whose lives have been affected in any way by cancer will take place Friday, March 19th at 7:00 pm.  All are welcome.

 Seasons for the Soul ~ Lenten Talks with Bishop Bill Hockin & Dr Barry Craig.  Mondays from 12:15 – 1:00 pm at  the Crown Plaza Hotel.
