Scholarship Opportunity ~ The Father Bernard F. McMahon Knights of Columbus Council 8654 is offering three scholarships to those pursuing a post-secondary education at any institution of higher learning. The Father Lawrence J. Murphy Scholarship ($1,000) is open to all individuals of St. Theresa's Parish. The two Father Bernard F. McMahon Scholarships ($500 each) are open to all individuals of St. Theresa's Parish with preference given to Knights of Columbus Council 8654 members and their families. Full details are on the application forms that can be picked up at the Church entrance or by calling Thomas Buckingham at 457-1600. Deadline for all applications is July 15, 2010
CWL Bursary ~ St. Theresa's CWL is offering a bursary of $300.00 to an eligible high school graduate entering 1st year of University or Community College. Application forms can be found on the bulletin board at the Church entrance or by calling Liz Campbell at 450-7962 or Lynn Howley at 452-8709. Application deadline is August 27th, 2010.
St. Anthony's Monthly "Touched by Cancer" Mass: for those whose lives have been affected in any way by cancer will take place Friday, July 16 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.

WYD 2011 Madrid, Spain ~ Applications continue to be accepted for WYD Madrid 2011 from youth in our Diocese ages 18 - 35. Dates are August 10th to 24th. Pilgrims will take part in Day in the Diocese where they will be hosted by a diocese in Spain for 4 days, participate in WYD for 6 days and have an opportunity to visit religious sites in Toledo, Avila and Segovia the last tow days.
